Nisos Yacht Charter Bavaria 45 Amelie
Another great holiday with Nisos and their team. Very friendly and efficient with every facet organised down to the last detail. Its our 5th time with Nisos and we wouldnt use anyone else for bareboat charter. The yachts are immaculate and function exactly how they should. Many thanks to Rowan and Kate also John who came to our hotel to give us an area brief and of course Laurie who is always available to assist. Great team if there was an excellent plus I would select that!!

Yacht charter at its best
Have just returned from a week in the Ionian with Nisos. It is the second time I have chartered from them and would not use anyone else. The yachts are exceptionally well maintained and the organisation to get you to and fro the airport and away on your boat is faultless. Laurie and Kate are the hands on locals that know the charter business backwards and nothing is to much trouble to them. If you are unfortunate to have a problem with the yacht ( I never have) they have high speed ribs which can get to you quickly with competent engineers to sort you out. I just such a glorious experience to sail in one of the most benign areas that all the family can enjoy.

Unquestionably best holiday EVER
We were recommended to Nisos Yacht Charter by a friend of a friend who had a boat with them for many years. As a family of 4, 2 teenagers new to sailing and 2 adults both a bit rusty, we booked Scotch Pie (34ft) for 2 weeks – under the ABC with guidance of the lovely Pip and Donald. The whole experience from booking with Rowan, transfers, briefings and finally handing the boat back was clear and totally geared to making the experience comfortable for us. Laurie and Kate were so lovely, organised, efficient and accommodating – thank you to Laurie for collecting us personally from the Nydri Beach Hotel (2 nights before being on the boat – highly recommend). 
We really enjoyed Donald and Pip’s guidance – they are such competent sailors and so knowledgeable of the area. Their one to one briefings each morning gave us recommendations, weather reports, the best route to the next mooring etc, but also listened to what we hoped to achieve each day and went out of their way to ensure that we experienced every type of mooring and experience possible as well as getting in decent sailing. Thanks to their suggestion, it was so amazing being the only boat anchored with long lines in a small cove off Frikes for the night. They made sure that we had places available at each mooring meaning we could stay out sailing until 6-7pm rather than the manic dash in at 2pm. Their recommendations of where to eat were fantastic – especially Sea Rocks at Agia Effimia and IlPorto Taverna, Castos. 
The boat itself was spotless and well kitted out including 100ft chain and 300lt water tank. You can book with Nisos Yacht Charter in the knowledge that it will deliver on everything it says it will and unlike any other charter company there’s no deposit or any hidden extras. Oh, and the Ionian is just so beautiful – clear water, wonderful snorkelling, scenery, people, food – perfect. Very pleased that we’ve already booked again for next year.

Sailing with no stress.
Wonderful week spent sailing around visiting the Ionian islands. From initial booking to handing back ‘Islay” everything was so well done. Immaculately clean yacht, very well equipped, fresh white bedding and towels. Even a bottle of beautiful sparkling wine to welcome us. Our Assisted bareback charter hosts Pip and Donald were clear with instructions, organised and so unflappable despite mixed weather. 
Would definitely use Nisos again. Thank you for a great experience.

In for a good time
You are in for a really good time if you book your sailing holiday with Nisos. 
Our sixth year and we highly recommend everything about the team and their boat presentation. 
They make transfers as seamless as possible.
Briefings of both the sailing area and the boat are thorough. 
Boats are well cleaned, prepared and presented with the assurance of a speedy backup team in case of any unforeseen problem. 
We loved taking along a paddleboard, plus being able to borrow flippers,snorkels, and swim floats. 
You will love your Nisos trip. 

Great , personal attention to detail.
We were looked after very well. All transfers happened on time . We had a great holiday and although on a bareboat help was always only a phone call away. Great are to sail.

The most AMAZING week ever!!!!!
From booking this holiday, through to dropping the car back at the airport, this holiday was seamless. When booking Villa Manolia Rowan couldn’t be more helpful, advising on flights, organising a rental car (taking the pain out of all the usual research), directions from the airport to the villa and lots of really useful advice about the area. The views from the villa were spectacular, and both the villa and swimming pool were just perfect, even down to having a glass balustrade so you could relax in the pool whilst watching the boats come in.
We were lucky enough to experience the most amazing skippered day charter on Amelie (one of Nisos’s boats). We met Brian, our lovely skipper, and set off for the day, stopping at a couple of stunning bays, jumping off the boat and swimming in the crystal clear sea. This has certainly whet our appetite to try a sailing holiday next year with Nisos.
Alongside the villa comes the unlimited use of Horizon Watersports including paddle boarding, kayaking, dinghy sailing and windsurfing which, having two teenagers, really appealed to us.
In summary, one of the best family holidays we could’ve hoped for. Thank you to Rowan and his team for making it such a memorable week.

When a company delivers on it promises
Nisos Yacht charter came as a recommendation, we were looking at various different yacht charter companies and were told to check out Nisos reviews on trip advisor, at that time it was the high 300’s with nearly 100% glowing reviews.
So we booked onto the ABC assisted flotilla for 1 week, this sounded just what we wanted, help of a lead boat, but no having to sit at a massive table with all the other boats and do the conga dance (although after a few Ouzo’s anything is possible).
From the start of the enquiry with Rowan we knew we’d made the correct choice! Everything was always confirmed, nothing too much trouble, he helped coordinate the transfers, flights etc etc.

Donald and Pip are a great team and massive help on the lead boat of the ABC, noting was too much bother or trouble, the time they give each boat on the morning briefing and level of detail is outstanding. Having a place available at some of moorings really took the stress out of it all, for me if we did it alone on a bareboat would probably be the biggest headache along with getting lines ashore etc. Their recommendations on eating out and booking tables for everyone really was fantastic, we absolutely loved Sea rocks at Agia Effimia. My mother struggled getting on and off the boat, so at Effimia they saved a spot with steps down to the transom for us to help my mum, she was so overjoyed they could do this for us.

Laurie and Kate are so organised (and friendly), everything is presented and confirmed to everyone on a personal level. We had a problem with the house batteries a quick phone call to Laurie and support crew had a new set waiting at Sivota for us! Amazing!!

You can truly tell when people care about what they are doing and I think that shows with all the Nisos team, alot of other companies could take a leaf out of their book.

The thing to remember about the cost of your holiday is the true cost, when you dig down into what you actually pay, it will become clear that Nisos is very good value. Most other companies will want at least a £1k deposit and any damage will be taken out of that! Around the Ionian there are hidden dangers that are not well marked, these could be easily hit if you don’t fully listen to the lead boat and or read the pilot guide (a copy is provided with the boat).

You will not be disappointed with Nisos, they are truly customer focused.

BEST HOLIDAY EVER!
We’ve just returned from our 2nd family holiday with Nisos. Both have been a fantastic experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend them as a company and can only sing the praises of everyone involved. From the booking process, being met at the airport, and our fabulous skipper ‘Steve’ who we have had on both occasions. 

We have sailed to some beautiful destinations, stopping off for snorkeling, fishing, diving off of cliffs, and eating some amazing food. Most importantly this has kept 3 teenage boys very happy and entertained. Can’t wait until next year to come again. Thank you to every one at Nisos, and especially to Steve and Rowan for some amazing family memories. 🙂

Excellent Charter
We have chartered yachts around the Med many times, mostly in Greece. This was our first charter with Nisos Yacht Charter. Their service and assistance was outstanding and way beyond any other charter we have experienced. They will come out to boat and address any issues if they arise. A new experience in chartering.  Very highly recommended.

A fantastic week sailing and exploring with Nisos Yacht Charter
We enjoyed a fantastic week sailing and exploring in the Ionian Sea. Nisos provided a seamless end to end charter services that included the very best assistance, support and advice. Their staff are professionally friendly and attentive. The boats are in excellent condition and well maintained. The recommendations proved excellent and I would highly recommend them without hesitation.

Brilliant Villa Holiday
Not long returned from a fantastic break with family at Villa Manolia. 

I was very impressed with the Villa, it felt like a home from home. Amazing pool and outdoor space with stunning views. Spacious and modern interiors, along with comfortable beds and great showers. The Villa had all the amenities you could wish for, washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. 

Nisos were very helpful and gave us tips about the local area, I even got to try my hand at stand up paddle board at a Horizon Water-sports, all part of the Villa Manolia package. 

I would highly recommend staying at Villa Manolia, it was a truly perfect introduction to Greece.

Top Class Experience!
I recently completed a week charter with Nisos Yacht Charter. This was our first ever charter and the whole experience was top class, from initial communications via email through to disembarkation at the end of our week. We were met at the airport and transported to Perigiali and it was immediately obvious that this was a well run operation. We chose the ABC Charter and both Donald and Pippa proved invaluable during the week. Each morning we received a briefing on our boat regarding the destination for the day and recommended stop offs along the way. When we arrived at dock each evening they were there to help us with the mooring and offered advice on various places to visit for the evening. 

We were a group of 8 and chose Lady Katerina for the week. There was plenty of room onboard and the boat was spotlessly clean. It was well equipped and everything worked as it should. From observations during the week, the Nisos fleet of boats seem to be that much better than other charter companies in the area.

At the end of the week we arrived back to Perigiali with everyone having had a fantastic week. Again the disembarkation process was very well run and we were soon being transported to the airport for our flight home.

At the end of the week, everyone agreed that we had chosen well when we decided to make our booking through Nisos, so much so that we are looking at booking another week next year.

Family Sailing Holiday
Just returned from the most amazing family sailing holiday. 12 of us in total ranging from 8 to 74 yrs of age on 2 beautiful yachts. Even though we have been sailing in the Ionian for many years we elected to use the ABC service which this company offered. Pip and Don were fantastic. Great service all round from start to finish. Very well organised and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be using this great sailing company again. Thank you!

5 star experience again with Nisos Yacht Charter
We had yet another 5 star experience with Nisos Yachts which sadly finished today 28 July on the Choosy Floozy. Its so well organised and runs like clockwork. Our yacht The Choosy Floozy was in good condition and served us very well. A big thank you from the Howells/Cook family. We shall return. Wholehearted recommendations take anyone considering Nisos.

Outstanding company from start to finish.
It helps to make a sailing holiday go well when the sun shines, the wind blows and everyone on the boat gets along, but the holiday is even better when the yacht is great, the transfers smooth, and local knowledge is spot on. We had a fabulous time from start to finish on the ABC flotilla with both teams of lead crews on alternate weeks. We loved the freedom of doing our own thing, but being helped into a mooring in the evening, especially when it got a bit blowy! When there were minor technical issues the engineers on the rib came and fixed it speedily. I can not rate this company more highly. Thank you all. Fabulous!

Another great holiday
Our sixth holiday with Nisos , and yet another lovely experience . The company continues to refine their service , and are maintaining a very high standard year on year . We will definitely be returning .

They thought of everything
Having just got back from a week’s holiday on the ABC with Nisos we can’t sing their praises enough. 

Planning a group trip can be like herding cats but right from the start Nisos were very accommodating of our + 2 / -1 scenarios having a solution for each. We ended up across 2 boats and they did their best to moor us next to each other each evening. 

On arrival the boats were well looked after and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. 
It was clear from the equipment on board a great deal of thought had gone into the minor things that people want on their holidays. Yes that include a Cafetière. 

We all loved the fact we could stay away from base all 7 nights and really make the most of the trip and if we go back to that area wouldn’t consider going with anyone other than Nisos.

Amazing time sailing the Ionian
We chartered a bareboat monohull for a week in July. Rowan, from Nisos, was extremely helpful during the booking process. The boat was in fantastic shape when we picked it up and the entire team at Nisos Yacht Charter was incredibly helpful.

Perfect (…again)
A year to the day and we were back in the Ionian with Nisos, such was the amazing experience we had with Nisos in 2018. While we visited some places old, some places new, the experience in 2019 matched 2018. The entire team at Nisos have things down pat. Attention to detail runs through everything the company does, right from the time of booking, to transfers, to when you get out on the water. We should add that both times now we’ve used a skipper provided by Nisos. The skippers Nisos use are top notch; rich in local knowledge as well as friendly and polite. Thank you Nisos for the great memories!

Nisos Yacht Charter in the Ionian
Chartering any boat is always a daunting task. No matter how much you review regarding the location, technical and boat specific information, there’s always doubt in your mind “will it be what I expect and will it go well”? This year (2019) my wife and I along with 2 friends chartered Champagne Flute, a beautiful Jeanneau 41 from Nisos, taking advantage of their Assisted Bareboat Charter (ABC) programme. From the moment we landed in Preveza, through to the detailed information of the week ahead and handover of the boat, we were confident we had the support and back-up of a very professional team. Special mention must go to the lead boat of the ABC flotilla Donald and Pip. They were exceptional and a pleasure to have along. From the daily morning briefing (itinerary/weather/suggestions on routes and places to visit etc.) and what the day had in store, through to the mooring support at the port of arrival at the end of the day, they were always there to help, assist and guide as required. The overall experience was incredible. Our sincere thanks go to all at Nisos for making a bareboat Yacht Charter holiday a very special memory. We cannot praise your company enough. From start to finish you were very impressive.

Great week sailing on Maybe
Enjoyable week sailing from Lefkas to Katsos, Ithaca and Cephalonia, stopping to anchor and swim, and in port or at anchor for the nights. Maybe was great – perfect for the Ionian, sailed and motored well, and very well equipped. Great holiday!

Best yacht charter company we’ve experienced
It is obvious that this company focuses on ensuring happy customers. At every touch point, they were completely focused on ensuring we had what we wanted to make a great holiday. From my initial enquiry on a sunday which received a full response within 2 hours to the porter who helped with our bags at the end of the holiday and every touch point in between. Even issues which there always are with chartering yachts received prompt handling.

But things like fluffy towels, plenty of bed linen, the help we received with taking delivery of a parcel, the helpful mooring tips provided by Donald and Pippa. We will definitely book again and have already recommended Nisos to another sailing family!

Great week
We’ve had a fantastic week on board Seren. Check-in and check-out was super easy. The boat was spotless and perfectly maintained. The Nisos team has been very responsive througout the booking and the holiday. I can’t think of a single thing they could have done better.

Villa Manolia
What can I say the most amazing villa we have ever stayed in absolutely breathtaking from the views to the cleanliness of the villa the villa has everything from dishwasher to washing machine and wifi.

The views are totally outstanding I cannot put into words how breathtaking the views are, we sat for hours just looking out to sea.

The pool area is fantastic beautiful sun loungers and tables and chairs which have umbrellas for the shade if needed and also an outdoor shower which is a great added extra.

We used the facilities at Horizon watersports which is an added extra with the villa, the staff were very helpful and friendly.

There is really no need to leave the villa as it is so beautiful.

Just want to say a real big thank you to all at nisos for such a fantastic holiday and we definitely recommend this villa totally AMAZING we will certainly return.

4 days at Villa Nisos, followed by a week aboard Ugogo. Very simply we all agreed it was one of the best holidays we have ever had, and that at 5 x 60 is accumulatively 300 years worth of holidays! Thank you very much Rowan and all your crew.

Best holiday ever!!
We sailed the Ionian with Nisos in June 2019 as a family of 6 people ranging in age from 4 to 49. We were complete beginners to sailing and wanted to try it out as something we could all do together as a family.
Therefore, as we had no experience, we had a skipper with us on the boat for a week. 
I can honestly say, without a doubt, it was the best sun holiday we have ever had.
The kids loved visiting a different port in a different island every day, sampling the local Greek cuisine. They were kept very busy with paddle boarding, swimming, snorkeling and exploring. Even rowing the dingy was a novelty for them.
My husband and I loved the sailing experience and will definite be doing it again. Our skipper was marvelous. We got plenty of practice at the sailing, safe in the knowledge that there was someone there to help us every step of the way. Even the children got a taste of it with steering the boat and dropping anchor!
Nisos were absolutely brilliant from the start. Every question was answered promptly prior to the holiday, they did everything possible to welcome us and to help us get started first day. They were on hand all week to sort any problem, however small, although the boats are so well maintained it would be unusual to encounter a problem at all.
All in all, a fabulous holiday!

We all felt that the operation at Perigiali is really smooth and efficient with a great bunch of guys, for whom nothing was too much trouble.

Great Ionian sailing holiday for families of all ages
An amazing week with the whole family. Extremely relaxing and very easy with assistance of the Skipper on the ABC to help us into port each night – but still left to our own devices during the day.
Great for all ages, my daughter (2) and my in-Laws (70+) loved it and are already talking about next years trip.

Yacht Juverna
Amazing week with friends on a brand new Bavaria C57. Nisos were excellent sorting transfers, arranging taxi’s, and were always there to support. Truly first class service from start to finish.
The yacht was spotless and with 8 of us on board never felt cramped. It has loads of sunbathing areas with cushions.
We had a fabulous week with some excellent sailing. Really impressed with the yacht in light winds.

One week fantastic yacht charter on Seren
Wow! What an amazing week! From the warm and friendly welcome of the Nisos team, to the breathtaking beauty of sailing around the Ionian islands. 
The whole holiday was faultless.
We stayed on Seren, a very comfortable yacht that sailed beautifully.
We chose the ABC (assisted bareboat charter) option, which gave us the freedom of doing things at our own pace, but the security of a space every evening to moor the boat.
Pip and Donald, the lead boat crew, are a real credit to Nisos, they made the whole experience a real pleasure with their knowledge and enthusiasm combined with a friendly approach.

5 friends and I did the Assisted Bareboat Charter scheme aboard Christopher Robin. Great experience, fun sailing, good food and gorgeous anchorages. I have just returned from a week`s charter of Nisos`s Bavaria 51, “The Choosy Floozie”. She formed an ideal base to accommodate a party of 10 key corporate clients with a mid week crew change over at Sami. Everyone at Nisos worked hard to ensure the trip was a great success and I look forward to returning again very soon.

Nisos Yacht Charter
We had a a great, trip a couple of years ago chartering two boats for a family holiday. We received excellent pre cruise support and briefings. We had a problem during our voyage with a failed engine bearing. This was resolved with a couple of hours and did not impact our trip at all. I would wholeheartedly recommend Nisos and we will return.

Another fantastic week sailing in the Ionian with Nisos
Having had such a great time last year we (four old blokes) booked again straight way on our return. Even better this time as the winds were a bit stronger and we had really good sailing every day. We were on the Assisted Boat Charter (ABC) again which is such a good compromise between bare boat and the conventional flotilla. Gives the skipper a proper holiday and cuts out all that anxiety around finding somewhere to stop. Pippa and Donald, who do all the hard work for you as the ABC crew, are a fantastic couple. An excellent combination of professionalism and friendliness that really adds to the experience. Well done you two.

As we noted last year the boats are exceptionally well presented and maintained and the family feel of the Nisos operation is something we’ve not experienced with any other operator. It just shows how a bit of extra care and attention pays off. Long may it continue and see you next year!

AAAAMMAAAZING
We had such an amazing time on the boat. It was very clean and so well kept it looked brand new! We went as two couples, all of which hate turbulence and also get horrible sea sickness – so what better way to spend a holiday and flying to Greece to get on a boat? 
It was the best day of our entire holiday! The most beautiful clear waters and Paddy, our very Friendly skipper sailed us round the islands. 
We even anchored close to a little island, all got in the little boat and rowed to shore. The ocean was freezing but we have never laughed so hard at the faces of each other a) trying to row in a straight line and b)trying to get the water past our shoulders! 
You can do as much or as little sailing as you wish. The guys loved it by getting involved which left the girls to sunbathe at the front! 
If you get a chance to do this – please do. It’s money worth spent! oh, also get the paddle boards – it’s something we regret not doing! 

Thanks to Rowan and Paddy – you made it unforgettable!

Dream holiday
I’ve chartered in quite a few places-both Greece and UK- and I really can’t rate Nisos highly enough. Every aspect of this charter was so well thought out, and nothing was too much trouble. From helping our crew with their challenging pickups and drop offs to posting me my favourite socks I left behind….What a wonderful professional team! At all times you felt you could get in touch for help and advice. Nisos also covers you for any damage that may occur with no extra charge- that’s invaluable peace of mind.
Then there is the boat! These boats are top of the range – as we saw when all the Ionian charter boats came in during a day of rough weather. We felt just fabulous sailing in this beautiful yacht. 
Then the location! We saw seals, dolphins …Jaw dropping scenery, seas so incredibly blue, secluded bays, unspoiled islands, – and legendary Greek hospitality. The food! The wine! The fantastic sailing!….a dream holiday. Thank you Nisos!

Hestia is the starring role
This was our first experience sailing and were lucky to be invited by our dear friends. The love and passion our friends have for sailing is a delight to watch and the passion has been passed onto their children.

The opportunity to sail on Hestia, a slab reefed yatch in the Ionian Sea was an opportunity not to be missed. The Ionian Sea was a beautiful backdrop to the many adventures that laid ahead.

Greenmotion car hire at the airport offer a one way car hire to Nidri. On the journey to Nidri we stopped off for a lovely lunch at Rachi/Fly Me at Exanthia, then continued up the mountain to the top and the Church of the Prophet Elias. Spectacular views of Nidri could be seen.

Our journey then continued to Nidri. The handover of Hestia was seamless with Nisos Yatch Charter. Hestia was on the quay in sparkling condition with every piece of equipment we could need on board, including quality beds and linen. 

The itinerary for the first day on board was Nidri to Sovita. The perfect pre-booked birth at Ionian Taverna, which is efficiently run by Yannis. Water and electricity are available. A delicious evening meal was eaten in the taverna.

Sovita to Kioni, with a visit to Papa Nicolis caves on the way for a swim and photo opportunity.

Kioni to Sarakoniki, then overnight at Polis. A wonderful sight of the little goats on the beach greeted us, their clanking neck bells gently ringing as they moved. With no light pollution it was a perfect clear night to see the Milky Way and shooting stars.

Polis to Big Vathi. Fantastic meal at ‘Apeoomea’ and a walk into the village for quality gifts.

Big Vathi to Fiskardo. Before leaving, topped up the water at the fuel stop. The night was so clear we could see the dark side of the moon. A warm welcome greeted us at Restaurant ’Apagio’, where we enjoyed delicious food on the balcony.

Fiskardo to Assos. At Assos we walked up the hill to the Fort and Prison (no longer in use). The path up is paved and well maintained. Spectacular views were to be had all th way up. We ascended by the path at the opposite side of the hill through the archway. This path is narrow in places and uneven. After lunch on board and a swim in the crystal blue waters, we headed back to Sovita for the night. Once again a warm welcome was awaiting us by Yannis at the Ionion Taverna where we enjoyed another wonderful meal.

Sovita to Vlikho. The day started with a cooked breakfast at the Ionion Taverna. Lunch was consumed on board at Port Atheni,then onwards to Little Vathi Ormos for some shopping, with Matthew at the helm, it was a perfect stern berthing. Onwards to Vlikho for an overnight stop and another exceptional meal at Dimitris.

Our final day Vlikho to Nidri. The airport transfer organised by Nisos was seamless.

This was a week of new and unforgettable experiences and memories. To have experienced Hestia in full sail was truly magnificent.
