ABOUT THE IONIAN
Ionian Sailing Itineraries & Charts
One of the beauties of the Ionian Sea is that due to the short distances involved between the islands, you can visit a vast number of places in a one week or two week charter. It also means that your itinerary planning does not have to be so rigorous as in other areas. We have suggested a couple of itineraries (see below), which you could follow. These take in the main islands and most popular destinations.
Itinerary 1
1 Week — South
This is a very achievable one week itinerary taking in most of the South Ionian islands.

Itinerary 2
1 Week — North
In one week, we would not recommend going as far north as Corfu Island due to the distances involved. However, Paxos and Anti Paxos are very achievable.

Please note
The sailing area has now been reduced, and now excludes the area to the south of Kefalonia. This is due to safety reasons as it is extremely difficult to provide a safe back up service any further south than this.
Paxos and Corfu are still within the safe sailing area.
