The insurance included in the boat charter price covers you against any damage to the yacht, the yacht’s equipment and any 3rd party damage.

What is not included is personal travel insurance. It is imperative that each individual travelling holds an appropriate level of personal insurance to provide cover in the case of any health issues, accidents, cancellation or loss of personal effects.
Most travel insurance policies will cover this sort of holiday. Usually there are two conditions:
- Sailing not more than 12 miles off shore
- Not racing competitively
Please do check with your insurance provider to make sure that your policy covers you adequately.
