Mention Nisos if you call them.If in any doubt, please call Rowan on 01491 572377 to check. ************************************************************************************************* How to get to our base Our base is located at the quay in Perigali, on the east coast of Lefkas Island (often referred to as Lefkada). There is a small road bridge connecting Lefkas Island to the Greek mainland. Please note, in early May and late October we may be operate out of Nidri from the town quay. Our nearest airport is Preveza airport (also known as Aktion, airport code PVK), which is 35 minutes by taxi from our base.
 
Flights to Preveza from the UK The majority of flights from the UK (London Gatwick or Manchester) are on Sundays and there are a smaller number on Saturdays and one flight on Wednesdays. Our charters typically run from Sunday to Sunday, but we can be a bit more flexible in May and October. Flights are run by charter companies (Monarch, Thomas Cook, First Choice etc) and are usually only available as returns. However we can sometimes find one ways, so do ask. The first flight of the season is at the beginning of May and the last flight is at the end of October. We do not package flights with our holidays as we feel it is better to give the flexibility of finding the cheapest prices on the open market. We work closely with certain flight agents who can do the leg work for you and find the best flights to suit your requirements. Our recommended flight agents are listed below:
Please mention Nisos if you do call them to get best prices. All flights purchased through 2bookaholiday are protected under the ATOL scheme. Once you arrive at Preveza we will have a taxi waiting for you to bring you to Perigali. This takes about 35 minutes and costs euros 45 per taxi (maximum of 4 passengers) each way or euros 10 per person if we use the mini coach for larger parties. Driving from Italy There are regular ferries from Bari, Venice and Ancona to Igoumenitsa on the Greek mainland. From Igoumenitsa it is a 1.5 hour drive to Perigali. We have ample free parking at the quay (cars left at owners own risk). See www.ferries.gr for ferry times. There is also a seaplane service from Italy to Lefkas - www.airsealines.com
Other methods of travel from Athens
Athens to Lefkas (departure times)
Easy Jet (www.easyjet.com) now fly daily into Corfu from the UK. From Corfu town you can catch the ferry to Igoumenitsa (1 hour) where we can arrange for a taxi to meet you to bring you to Lefkas (1.5 hours – approximately euros 130 cost). This is a good option if you want to travel down a few days before the charter begins and hence find the typical UK/Preveza weekly flights restrictive. There is also a seaplane service operating between Corfu and Lefkas – see www.airsealines.com for prices and timetable.
Whilst flying into Preveza is the preferable option, it may be possible to fly to Kefalonia and then take a taxi from the airport to Fiskardo. From Fiskardo you can catch the ferry to Nidri/Vasiliki, where we can arrange for a taxi to meet you.
Finally We can work out pretty much any travel conundrum you throw at us – so do ask if you need advice or are struggling to work it out. You can arrive at our base at any time of day or night – we will be there to welcome you and get you relaxed! We can organise hotels, car hire in fact pretty much anything!
