The Coptic Chart

The Coptic Chart was devised in Alexandria in Egypt.  It gives a fairly accurate prediction of major weather systems

throughout the year and has proven to be accurate to within 48 hours.  It specifically relates to the eastern med,

but has influences further afield.  Gales usually start off from the south west, veering west, north west.  They usually

last for about 3 days.
